Mortgages Plc - full site redesign
Mortgages Plc is a leading lender in the UK non-conforming mortgage market and owned
by the Merrill Lynch organization. As part of a company wide re-branding exercise
the website required a complete redesign. Viewline had an existing relationship
with Mortgages Plc. and were fortunate enough to be offered the chance to tender
for the work and subsequently win the business.
We worked closely with both the marketing and technical teams to produce a site
that has a clean, professional look and adheres to the supplied technical specifications.
As well as designing and implementing the design code work was also undertaken.
This included ASP.NET code work and SQL Server database integration work.
Some of the key features of the site are:
- Flash animations (charity animations, marketing campaign)
- Design support for the online mortgage processing system
- All code built to the adhere to the latest standards in accessibility
- Compatible with all web browsers
- Search engine optimized
- All code is CSS driven, no tables used (sorry, one for the techies!)

Magnus Homes - full site redesign
Magnus Homes, a building company based in Carlisle, England approached us with the job of giving their current site a fresh, professional look while at the same time adding to the functionality and features. Our approach was very similar to new commission work.
We discussed exactly what they wanted to achieve, determined their preferred styles, obtained the source material (logos etc.) and produced a number of concept proofs.
After a design concept was chosen work started on expanding this style out across all pages on the site. Some new pages were added and Flash was used to produce a visually appealing gallery slideshow.
